What will your verse be?

Vitamin N
So, I log into Youtube and in my suggested sidebar, I see this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssBOS...eature=related Now, from what I understand, cigars have a pretty large amount of Nicotine? Is she just plain wrong? Or am I not understanding correctly? |

Re: Vitamin N
I'm not sure the exact amount of Nicotine in the average cigar, but I would imagine "virtually" no nicotine is an incorrect statement. Most cigars are 100% agri product, or tobacco. Also, with regards to cigarettes, they have chemically changed the delivery of nicotine to the body. What I mean by that is they have added and changed chemical compounds in the cigarette to enhance delivery to the body. Tons of insanely bad compounds are added to cigarettes, so much so that there really is no tobacco in them at all. They soak a liquid mixture of chemicals on paper and dry it out as "tobacco".

Re: Vitamin N
I know that ciggarettes have more than one addictive property, like fiberglass. It essentially nicks up your lungs when you inhale it, and you become addicted to the "warm" feeling it gives.
I just heard her say there is virtually no nicotine and thought "Okay...that's wrong". What would it be that affects my heart rate and makes me light headed? If it's not nicotine than I don't know what it is. I'm almost 100% sure she is wrong. That's just me, though... |

Smoke too many strong cigars back to back and you will find out for yourself how full of $hit she is

Fiberglass in cigarettes? Are you sure you're not confusing this with chew/dip? I've heard it before about dip, but not cigarettes.
Not saying that there isn't a load of crap they put into cigarettes, just possibly not fiberglass.

I've heard that too, but I have no idea how accurate it is. Actually, it was more to do with the filter containing fiberglass if I recall.

The average cigar has as much or more nicotine than a pack of cigarettes. But as others have said, the absorption rate is much lower. Most cigar smokers do not inhale, but we do hold smoke in the mouth and nicotine gets into the bloodstream that way. Cigarettes are like syringes, just a delivery system for the nicotine and whatever other chemicals that have been added.
There is an excellent History/Discovery documentary on the making of cigarettes. |

Re: Vitamin N
The cigarette fiberglass myth lives! What they do have are things to make them more alkaline and thus increase nicotine uptake.
