For these types of questions, it's always a good idea to give a price range.

So think of the ones you like that are on the milder end of what you have tried. Hard to believe that you've never had a single mild-medium cigar that you thought tasted decent.

At least that way, you know what you are getting, and you know your friend's tastes better than any of us.

right now leaning towards this 5 vegas

it is 7.5x54 full-flavored cigar that’s mild in strength
for the coin I think it is better then most bundles but I have only smoked the robusto's and not bad little too mild for me

Gran Habano 2002 Vintage, I think a bundle is around $40 from CI.

My favorite, and it's good enough that I actually smoke it even being a full strength kinda guy is; La Campina from Famous smokes. Mild and flavorful enough that I can actually enjoy it. Also quite reasonably priced.

I like the Gran Habano vintage 2002 but I wouldn't classify them as mild-medium.... more like medium to full but that's just MHO. I think you are on the right track with the 5 vegas gold. They are a solid cheap (around $2 per stick) and mild cigar. For just a little bit more you could look into the C.I. legends line. They run around $2.50-$3 each (on the devil's site) and I was a big fan of the purple label (Graycliff).

just closed on these 5 vegas
at 49+ shipping that's not bad since these are the biggest of the line 7.5x54 and I am sure it will be a great golf stick plenty mild but just not a cheap bundle as they asked for.
I just could not see me sending a bundle of Ron Mexico's or similar for a Christmas present thanks for the help everyone may your secret Santa beat you down to a pulp!!!!

Those are perfect for the golf course and handing out. Good buy.

Great call on the 5 Vegas. They are my go to pass out cigars for golf outings etc. Never a bad one, mild enough for the new guys and a sharp looking label for those impressed by that as well.
