Cigar band clock
I've had this old clock in the garage for years now - pretty dull. My kids collect my old cigar bands and they never get used for anything. So, I figured we'd have a craft day and decorate the clock. I used Scott's idea of using a glue stick. I think it works a lot better than white glue. Here are some photos. Pretty neat project, as I remembered a lot of these cigars by revisiting their bands. We've got enough bands to make a lot more crafts so I can only guess what they'll come up with next.
Also, we made all types of paper airplanes and several types of origami. Kids keep you young!

Re: Cigar band clock
That is awesome. Way to turn an piece of junk into a piece of art. I need to start keeping my bands so I can do something similar in the future.

Re: Cigar band clock
That is great! Love it! I took the bands the hubby and I had and made a huge picture for him. I used rubber cement though. Easier to pull them up and tuck others if needed.
