Room 101 Namakubi Papi Chulo
Smoked this little 4x42 yesterday, and damn near lost my mind!
That is one fine little smoke bro's and sis' it started out with a peppery punch, then transitioned into a very creamy and smooth smoke after the 1st inch, there were several transitions (fruit, spice, etc.) I really wish i could have found a box and had the funds to buy them... The guy at the shop said the Toro's down to the petite corona's are smoking great! He said the larger sizes are not as good... I should also note that the ash fell off at 1.5inches, and again with a half inch left! At the end i almost burned my fingers! |

I've smoked 2 of these and I can concur they are astonishing... I was lucky enough at Shack to be handed one by the guy that held its release party... I think they run about $6.50 a piece... but they last about 45-50 mins where the Tat Petit Cazzie is about a .5 hr smoke for me.

These are one of my go to sticks right now (1 box @ the HERF, 1 BOX smoked myself, and 1 BOX put away so far), but just remember there are less Papi Chulos' than the other sizes (i.e 400 Boxes of PCs compared to 1000 boxes of every other size)... meaning, get them while you can... with 40-60 CIGARMAGEDDON events scheduled, there is no way this will last. Cigar has a light spice that builds with the strength, a subtle sweetness, and an overall leathery/woody character IMO... something different and refreshing. ...here is a picture for those who wanted one (from the shack herf - CG88s Papi Chulo ASH): |
