Default I'm in Blue Ridge GA

I'm going to be up here for a couple of weeks. It will be a peaceful get away for my anniversary with my beautiful Bride. I have some great cigars to smoke and a few of them came from Brothers on this forum. Thank you, you know who you are.

Just curious anyone know where the closest cigar shop or lounge is to me in Blue Ridge? I don't know of any but I'm only familiar with the most immediate parts of this town and don't know much about the surrounding area.

Thanks,
Jackie

There used to be a shop in Clayton Ga., a little east of you. I do not remember the name, but I think it may have closed down.

A little north of you is

Smokey Mountain Cigars
1991 Georgia Road, Franklin, NC
(828) 369-1000

and

Highlands Wine Cellar & Cigar
114 North 4th Street, Highlands, NC
(828) 526-3553

I haven't been to these in a while, so I cannot vouch for them. Sorry.

Enjoy the time with your bride though. You are in some beautiful country. My dad has a place above Lake Burton near Clayton. I am hoping to get back up there soon to do some fishing.

Smokey mountain in franklin is a new one. Very small selection. Nice guys.

Highlands is more typical albeit overpriced(compared to FL). There is also a shop across main street a few stores down that has cigars. Largest selection is definitely at the wine and cigar place.

The one in clayton closed down probably 6 years ago. Used to be next door to a breakfast joint called The Cookie Jar(the co-owner was the banjo player in deliverance).

So it just depends on what is closer to you. That is my update from the last time I Was up there which I think was new years. Heading up next weekend for a few days.

That was the one. I thought it was gone, but I haven't been up there in a couple of years.

Sounds like we have some of the same stomping grounds brother!

Helen GA sounds like it might be close. I have no idea whether they have a B&M, but Helen has a thriving business center, and is very touristy.

Can't help you with any cigar shops, but you're in some beautiful country up that way. Enjoy yourselves and Happy Anniversary, Jackie!

Kenneth, I have only been in GA for about a year and a half now. I'm in Marietta normally but vacation in Blue Ridge for the next couple of weeks. Marietta is just north of ATL and Blue Ridge is about an hour north of Marietta. I don't know where Columbus is but I should mapquest it... I'm always looking to hook up with another botl for a mini herf.
