Default Xikar EX Natural Flame Lighter

This is a solid, all metal lighter with a spring action top cover to protect the burner and button. It’s actuated by a single thumb button that ignites a wind resistant natural flame, approximately 1″ high. It has quite a heft and feels rugged in the hand, being the prefect size for my larger hands and fingers. With a large bottom thumbscrew for burner adjustment, it gives a total burn time of just under 7 minutes. Video on the site

I had one of these, they are not bad at all. The windproof soft flame is nice.

I need to send mine in for service. The flame isn't coming out of the middle.

none of them do, at least in my experience, the flame is always coming from the rim and not the dead center.

Try going through the complete purge and refill procedures on the Xikar site - they do make a big difference when followed to bring back performance.

I did purge, and blew it out with compressed air with the same result. It's going back tomorrow for service. It's a great company.

Default Re: Xikar EX Natural Flame Lighter

My only negative is the flame is very hot, so the wrapper can scortch quicklyif you aren't careful.

I have the LP #9 version.
