Default Pipe tobacco stored in humidor

I tend to enjoy my cigars more often than I do my pipe but when I find a pipe tobacco that I like, I tend to buy 2 or 3 ounces of it for future use.

I'm wondering what the forum's thoughts are regarding storing a tin of pipe tobacco in a humidor. Clearly, the cedar could affect the taste of the pipe tobacco if left there a long time but are there any other down sides or better ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if there would be any harm or not in storing regular pipe tobacco in there, but If it's an aromatic or flavored pipe tobacco and the tin doesn't seal well, it could lead to problems, as some of them are strong enough to affect your cigars over time.
