Shack Herf 2010 Stogies
Never been fortunate enough to attend any of the Shack Herfs yet and today I was wondering what everyone smoked while they were there.
What did you smoke while at Shack that wasn't your everyday stick? (sorry if this thread already exists, I didn't see one) |

Got to try:
Dunhill Estupendo and 1960's Dunhill Don Alfredo...those were the craziest..although there were many many others but I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Craziest thing I saw was a 1905 Partaga with a green and silver band...I think that got torched as well.

of great cigars, but it just makes you mad and you stop reading after a few posts. Hal always says he will go but always cancels, just like I did for three years straight. But even I finally broke down and went, lol. But I think I will step aside and make rooom for others next year. Some people will go every year regardless, but I think folks like me need to make room for others to go and get the full experience and still have the herf be a manageable entity. |

SMOKED
These are sticks I either brought myself and smoked, or were handed to me as a gift and smoked at Shack. 02 LGC MdO #4 08 CoRo 01 CoLa 09 Monte Edmundo 07 HdM Coronation 08 Sig II 00 HU Coronas Major 80s Davidoff Mouton Punch Ninfa that was handed to me by DBall 70s Partagas 8-9-8 00 Festival Marevas LGC Deliciosos RE Cuba LGC Gloriosos RE UK 08 ERDM Grandes de Espana 98 Boli PC 07 Sig I 00 Party Lons 99 Boli Lons I may have missed a few in the list above, but those are the bands I have. However, I also got to TRY a number of absolutely amazing sticks via a few of the PPPs that went on. This list is definitely incomplete, but here are the ones I remember clearly: 93 RASS 95 CoRo 90-something CoLa Partagas 155th Anniversary (TWICE!) Cohiba 30th Anniversary Dunhill Mojito Dunhill Estupendo 85 HU Monarca Monte #4 Dunhill Seleccion (or something like that) Cohiba Sublimes 5th Avenue 10th Anniversary VR 5 Anniversario Dutch Masters Clear Havana White Owl Clear Havana Don Alfredo I know there were others ... I need to bring a little notepad next time. Oh, and I passed on trying a Cubatobacco cigar reserved for diplomats and visiting dignitaries circa 1960 because my palette was absolutely fried at that point. It's not that I didn't want to try it, but I thought it was poor form for me to accept it just for the sake of saying I tried one when I KNEW there would be zero flavors coming through due to all the other sticks I had already had. It was a good time! |
