Any ever use a Parchment Faux Finish? ( Painting )
Finishing up a kitchen remodel for my GrandMom. Thinking about painting the walls using a Parchment Faux Finish. I'm not the best drywall guy out there, a friend said different painting techniques may help cover up some of my mistakes finishing the walls... Any brothers tried this before? Any hints?

Re: Any ever use a Parchment Faux Finish?
I started to in my bathroom upstairs. Couldn't quite get the technique right, and I held a job as a house painter for years, in the end I rolled the room out.
It just didn't look good in my opinion. I guess for techniche I'd say, take your time, keep it random, buy twice the paint, prime the walls properly to suit the top coat, and approach with lower expectations. That should make the end result a much happier one.
