Really Good Torch Lighter?
Can anyone recommend a really good torch lighter? Nothing absurdly expensive but not cheap either. I've got a few Ronsons and they're starting to crap out on me little by little.

The last one I bought was a Xikar Eris.
I picked this one because I liked the design and it has a punch. I went with Xikar because of the lifetime warranty. |

Re: Really Good Torch Lighter?
How much are you wanting to spend as I have a variety of lighters that are really good and one is a combo torch/soft flame lighter which works great. http://www.buylighters.com/Double-Fl...ter_p_693.html
Just got this last week and I love it...it's a soft flame but it works and looks exactly as my ST Dupont lighter...with the PING and everything. LGC ST Dupont like lighter http://www.atlanticcigar.com/beatclockdeals.html |

I wouldnt recommend buying lighters from this company. I purchased a 3 lighter special about 4 months ago. 2 of the 3 lighters didnt work when they arrived right out of the box. They did send 2 replacement lighters which worked for about a month. And as of today NONE of the lighters no longer work. Spend the extra money and buy yourself a REAL LIGHTER..... |

I have been happy with a $3 Ronson someone gave me. I prefer a soft flame, but the Ronson has be solid.
Might be out of your initial price range, but the Dunhill Trench Torch Lighter is just outsanding in every way. So amazing and a work of art.

Re: Really Good Torch Lighter?
I like the Lotus torches; they are not very expensive (relative, I know), they hold a lot of fuel and they are pretty reliable. This is my newest:
And I have had one of these for several years: The nice thing about these larger torches is that they will light and stay lit in the wind (not a gale ).

I like the Blazer CG-001. They're the best lighter than I've owned.

Rob at Taboo cigars has a nice selection of cheap torch lighters in 1,2 or 3 flames. I picked up a couple and they have been great so far.

This is a great torch....but I haven't had any problems with my Xikar Executive either, lights everytime. I just like the clear reservoir on the blazer a bit better. And the trick with any of these is QUALITY butane.

Re: Really Good Torch Lighter?
That's the Jetline double torch from Rob & Patrick at Taboo Cigars. It's a bargain -- and well-made. Made in Japan. For a dressier lighter, I like Nibo Space 6 and 7 torch lighters. Extremely nice construction and a great hand feel. Also made in Japan. joe196220 at Cigar America aka Slippery Rock Cigars has the best prices on Nibo double and triple torches -- $9.95.
