Moving
This past year or so has been tough, Wifey has been laid off and the lodge she worked at will not be reopening, There are no jobs to be had in Round Valley, She’s been working in the shop with me and Damned if she aint gotten real good at what she does.
Last week we got an offer on our house and property which we accepted. We basically broke even on the deal with enough to make a down payment on a much smaller place. This little “Ranch” of ours has been an awesome place to live and it’s gonna tough to leave. I’m going to miss the land around me, the old barn and all the fruit trees. But one must do what one must do. On Tuesday we will make an offer on a small home on ½ an acre in a nice quiet area on the outskirts of Springerville … half the house, way less land, but also less than half the mortgage. Springervill and Eagar (where we live now) are side by side, the move is only about a mile or so. I will have to build a new shop ASAP and it’s going to take some getting used to being in a smaller place but the fact that this will make it possible for us to breath again is huge. To those of you who have done such awesome things for and to me during this tough time I can not thank you enough, You’ve all humbled me … But I can tell you things are gonna begin to look up for us again and then you’ll all get what you got coming to you. Wish us luck …

Here's to a headache-less move...and I'm sure you and Mrs Stitch will make it as comfy as the old place in no time.

Re: Moving
I wish you the best sir. It's been a tough go for a lot of folks lately. My Mother's place is on the market right now for the same reason. My fiance has suffered layoffs from various jobs for the last few years. I'm working more hours for less money. All we can do is take it as it comes my friend. Keep your chin up. All things come in due time.
