I smoking it now...I'll post either as I go, or afterwards. Just thought I should mention the freezing temps in case it impacts my review.

OK! Here goes:
Appearance - 12/15 Kind of rough exterior. Good curl to the left. Scent = very little Ash - 8/10 Relatively sturdy/some flakiness. Darker gray color. Nice lines showing good burn rate. Draw - 10 / 10 PL = cedar notes and good draw. 1/3 = smooth draw. rest = Never got too tight or too loose. Burn - 8 / 10 Went out on me once. I blame the cold! Smoke - 8 / 10 Good amount of thick smoke Flavor/Blend - 17 / 20 first 1/3 = FP is peppery. Smooths out with a couple more draws. Leathery & almost chewy smoke on the draw. VERY light post puff flavor left on palate. 2nd 1/3 = FP is Grassy earthy profile. Still a great draw. Spice/Bite picks back up slightly near end of third 3rd 1/3 = Dry Woodsy flavors and grassy tones. Strong cedar and...Mollases?? Uniqueness - 7 / 10 Finish - 14 / 15 Finish becomes slightly hot. Buy the smoke gets thick and chewy! Band removal leaves the cigar getting slightly harsh past that point. Final Score: 84 Final thoughts: Good smooth smoke. SLIGHT bite to start. Smooth the rest of the way and relatively similar in profile to the end. Burn & construction = perfect! Last edited by muhren; 02-27-2010 at 08:16 PM. Reason: Spacing! |

Re: Party Charlotte '99
I moved it because it didn't become a "review" until post #4. I believe another TOE explained the rest via PM.
