I'm nuts for the place

Sometimes things do go right
Weather here hit the mid 50s and the wife went out with friends to see a chick flick which means I got some two wheel therapy in and now I am kicked back in the man cave aka garage drinking a Dos Equis and smoking a Room 101 watching some Supermoto. Doesn't happen often but it seems everything fell into place today.
The Room 101 seems rather mild for a Camacho product but still enjoyable. Maybe after I finish up my smoke I will head down the road for some Sushi. Who's coming?

If you are heading to Chicago for your sushi, I will be there John.
Glad you are having a good day.

Re: Sometimes things do go right
I would enjoy some good North Carolina pulled pork with vinegar sauce but will have to pass on the Sushi. Sounds like you had a great afternoon.

Re: Sometimes things do go right
Finished my cigar and my belly is full. My overall thoughts on the Room 101, Construction was very good which is to be expected from Camacho and the stick kept a razor sharp burn most of the way through after straightening up after a crappy lighting job on my part due to an uncooperative torch. A nice bit of spice and leather which remained consistent through the stick without much of a change which made this stick a little boring on the palatte. Like I mentioned in my first post the stick is rather mild for a Camacho stick and would probably fit in the medium category as advertised. Not a bad smoke but I am also not rushing out to stock up on them. The stick had a great aroma which smelled great after walking out of the garage to feed the dogs and then walking back in afterward. If you have not tried one I say give it a go but don't expect to be blown away. Wifes still out with her friends so I am now onto catching up with the two episodes of Top Gear on the DVR. Good day indeed.

Re: Sometimes things do go right
I am jealous. I need some two wheel therapy myself but too cold on Long Island. May be able to get in a quick rip tomorrow when the sun is out.

I am green with envy, except for the sushi.
We have had snow on the ground for over two weeks. It is starting to turn to slop and mud now, hit 40 yesterday. But do not fear more snow on the radar for next week. |

Re: Sometimes things do go right
Sounds like my kind of day. I just got done sitting in the hot tub with my kids while enjoying a RyJ 1875 Churchill so it wasn't all bad.
