The heavy music thread.
Alright, this thread is dedicated to all things heavy. This is general as it can get. This thread isn't confined to just rock and roll either. There's lots of heavy music out there that doesn't even use guitar (think jazz, or perhaps even back to the classical period.)
And so, without further ado, here's a little bit of what's been stuck in my head recently. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MxSW0zGsbw (Led Zeppelin- the ocean) and then, the same song, covered by bonerama (you've got to check it out) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhwaNGeq22A

Re: The heavy music thread.
Well, if we're plunging into metal (which I knew would happen), I do believe it's time to throw out the band that defines heavy. You'll be hearing a lot from these guys in this thread as long as I'm around.
