Default Mahalo

Just wanted to give a big mahalo (thank you) to the Aloha Boyz for hosting a HERF in my honor while I was vacationing in Maui last week. These guys are true BOTLs and were very gracious hosts, and went out of their way to accommodate my grueling vacationing schedule.

We spent a more than a few hours on Daniel's balcony on the West Maui Mountain overlooking the Central Maui valley, and Haleakala, had it been day, Im sure the view would have stretched all the way to the ocean. We enjoyed some fine cigars, and got to "talk story" (chat) into the wee hours.

From left to right: Me, Ed (non CA), Doug (non CA), Juan (El Fumador), Jay (jdakine), Daniel (dannyboy)

Mahalo gentlemen. I put a little package in the mail for you all, hopefully it will arrive before your next "Ash Wednesday HERF"
Label/Receipt Number: 9405 5036 9930 0034 5293 09

In case youre wondering why we're all barefoot, it is customary to remove your shoes upon entering a Hawaiian household.

A few more pics of the Valley Isle:

Sunrise from the top of Haleakala Volcano

Wainapanapa Black Sand Beach

Sunset at Ka'anapali Beach with Lanai in the background

Nice pics, I am glad we were able to catch up while you were here. It was a real pleasure getting to meet another CA BOTL and share a few smokes. Moe is a great guy and was kind enough to hand out a few cigars that were enjoyed very much (it was the oldest cigar that Ed and Dave have ever smoked and very different from their normal fresh stuff). We also got some really cool CA stickers and Masshole stickers

Thanks for stopping by bro, I had a great time. Hopefully you can make it out again sooner than later.

Moe is the man, I felt like he smoke's with us every week. We should start talking about maybe an annual Maui Herf, I wonder if anyone is interested. We'll let Kelly gather the troops.

Moe thanks for stopping by it was a blast.

I just told Moe we need you guys to coordinate. Seems like there are a few people planning trips out here over the next year, it would be great to have one massive Maui herf!
