Cabaiguan Guapo 46 (lots of pics)
I decided to get happy with the camera this afternoon and do a picture heavy review, hope you enjoy.
The first thing that I noticed about this cigar is that it is much lighter than everything else in the humi. wrapper is Honduran according to the internet. (Padron and La Riqueza for comparison) Man this is a pretty cigar! I love the quadruple cap and fancy pigtail. This is incredibly mild for a Tat. There isn't a hint of that typical DPG nose sting. I'm sniffing it up my nose, snorking and just generally trying to get as much of the flavor as possible. I usually never say this but so far the Cab is a bit too mild for my taste (and I prefer mild cigars) well hello Mittens! I must say your new collar makes you look like a very classy gentleman! |

The flavor so far is just straight tobacco. That's not a bad thing though, but not all that interesting. It tastes more like a DPG blue label than a Tat. no complexity, no weird flavors, just clean, refined tobacco. view from the balcony my beverage of choice |

Hi Ginger! do you see something interesting?
I live in Montrose, Texas which is kinda like the "artsy" neighborhood just outside of downtown Houston. Everyone who lives here is intensely loyal to the area and we kinda revel in the fact that it's heavily gentrified. You're either a rich yuppy or a poor artist/student. I fall somewhere in the middle. I think I'm going to buy the "watch your bike shirt" but pretty much all of them sum up the neighborhood quite well. halfway though now. flavor hasn't changed. I'm reminded of the Trinidad Reyes I smoked recently. very classy and clean tasting but much more mild than I was expecting. |

one more... I'm not disapointed but, this is just a bit mild for my personal preference. ooh! this is the coolest toy I own. a Japanese record player that actually plays records vertically while mounted on the wall. |

some collectable vinyl toys
Gloomy Bear is solar powered and his head rocks gently back and forth when the sunlight comes throught the window...creepy Well this is about done. The flavor never changed or got more complex. The only way I can describe is just like I said before, clean, refined tobacco. nothing really interesting or unique. a classy smoke that you can really get a nose full of without any of that typical DPG nose sting. |

into the memory box...
speaking of, anyone seen this sticker before? It says "inspected" but when I got it, the warranty seal wasn't broken and I checked to see if they put a new seal over the first. I guess it's a habanos sticker applied before the warranty seal. time for lunch! Here's the three esentials, chili paste, chili oil, and Siracha garlic chili sauce. and this is the best Ramen you can buy in Montrose. Chili oil beef ramen from Jenni's noodle house. sure it costs $9 but it's better than any ramen I've ever had, anywhere. hope you enjoyed this review and tour of my apartment! now that I have the camera, I intend to do it again real soon. see you next time! |
