Cool today... Chili tonight
I have been dying to make a pot of chili... but it has been too darn hot. Today the high is supposed to be around 75 and dropping to the mid 40s tonight. I see chili and cornbread in my future!!!

Borndead1's Bombastic Buffalo Black Bean Chili:
Use ground buffalo instead of ground beef (you can find buffalo at many "health food" stores; Trader Joe's and Whole Foods usually carry it) Black beans instead of kidney beans Red onions

Re: Cool today... Chili tonight
Been plenty cool here in the Ozarks and I enjoyed my first annual batch 2 weeks ago with the first frost! Supposed to freeze tonight so that will call for another batch of chili.

If I ever wrote down my recipe instead of just kinda throwing it together every time I made it, I'd post it.

Re: Cool today... Chili tonight
try some thirty degree weather here in Ohio. I am from Florida and quite the gator fan as they do not play college football here in Ohio. Some chil made with black beans are great with some corn bread or bean soup with corn bread

Re: Cool today... Chili tonight
The wife made chili and cornbread on Thursday. She must have known the cool weather was heading in.
It feels great outside!

I love the fall 'cause that's when the wifey starts making up her soups & chilis. Tonight we had white chicken chili. Outstanding!!
