A Relative Sings our National Anthem at
a Texas Rangers game.
You wouldn't have seen this even if you watched the game as they went to commercial for the singing of the National Anthem. What have we become? Anyway, I think my cousin has a great voice. Enjoy. CLICK ME. |

He did a great job.
Some people need to learn to take their goddamn hats off when it's played though. |

Nothing pisses me off more that idiots wearing their hats...and it isn't like they don't take an announcement. My wife gets pissed at me because I tell people to take their damn hats off and show some respect.

That's awesome Al. Thanks for sharing. That has to be one of the highlights of his life. How did singing in Texas come about?

Very cool. Props to him on a good job. I agree commercials during the anthem is so disrespectful.
As for the women and hats. It actually is considered ok for a women to leave her hat on unless it is a unisex hat, like a ball cap, then she is supposed to take it off. At least that is how I was taught. However if she is wearing a hat after five that is akin to wearing white after labor day. |

Very cool Al.
One time I went to a Rangers game, is that kind of the same thing?

Re: A Relative Sings our National Anthem at
Very nice performance, from someone who's sung a few national anthems in his day.
I like when singers do a nice "clean" version like his. I hate when pop singers over-ornament the anthem. Congratulations to Eric.
