I've had my Baby Gaggia for about 2 years and love it.

Perfect lattes every day

I had a Gaggia "Coffee" for 48-hours and thought it was a paperweight - sent it back. The Baby and Classic have a lot of fans with the a possible downside being the aluminum boiler. Not sure what that means over 5, 10 or more years compared to brass, though.

I've wondered the same thing. The folks at WLL who sell a lot of Gaggia's seem to think the aluminum is a good thing because it heats faster, or so they say.... probably a sales pitch.

I plan on running my Baby Gaggia until it craps out, which it isn't showing signs of doing, then buy the Oscar I've been dreaming of.

Not sure why, but in my narrow mind, I think the Italian machines are the best.
