Good Groomsmen gifts?
What should i get the guys in my wedding? What's the average spending range per person?
I want to get them something they can use etc. Keep in mind they do not all smoke cigars. I WAS thinking about getting everyone something different... or is that dumb? HELP

Personalized cuff links, money clips, etc are pretty much always appropriate. Maybe a subscription to a few **** sites would be cool too. I took my buddies out on a charter boat fishing. It was a blast.

Re: Good Groomsmen gifts?
Best one I ever recieved and the only one that didn't make it to the bottom of a junk drawer was the Mont Blanc pen I got about 12 years ago.
It is in my front shirt pocket every day.

Re: Good Groomsmen gifts?
For my wedding I believe I went on E-bay and purchased sterling silver cigar/flask tube. Basically looked like two tubes put together, one tube held a cigar, the other was the flask. I then took it to my local jeweler and he engraved their initials on the top of each one.
I like the idea of getting each of them something different though, would show that you really put the thought into it. As for me, I just did not have the time or even any other ideas for each of them. |

An engraved pen set or hip flask. Any stuff most guys want but will never buy themselves! As far as spend limit, whatever you are comfortable with. I have seen $25gifts when buddies married young in college and had no money and $500 from a buddy who married later and did well for himself. Both gifts were from the heart and had the same value to me.

Mine received a bottle of wine each (all different $100+ bottles suited to their individual taste), a nice lighter, and a cigar. Seemed to go over well, they enjoyed them all.

I let the groomsmen stand next to me at the alter and drink for free at the reception. Is that not enough?

Re: Good Groomsmen gifts?
I had received a humidor when I took part in my friends wedding. But I think a flask or something similar might be a better idea.
Although the bottle of something idea sounds good as well. |

Re: Good Groomsmen gifts?
I took my groomsmen out for dinner at one of the city's top steakhouses with all the beer & wine they could handle. I hate to say it, but a money clip or cuff links and flasks usually end up in a drawer never to be looked at again... the memory of that night and the mischief that followed will be with us forever though.

Re: Good Groomsmen gifts?
I took mine to the bar as well as bought them each a unique gift to fit their hobbies and personalities. I also got them all a personalized beer mug. The loved the fact that they all got something the same, and something different!

Re: Good Groomsmen gifts?
I think this is the best way to go. one item that everyone gets to show that it's connected (and "even") and then something tailored to each individual. Otherwise you might get too stressed out on trying to find one thing to do that everyone likes--like you already said, not all of them like cigars.
