E3 Conference 2009
Just a thread to discuss the E3 conference this year.
Microsoft went today. I'm really looking forward to CoD MW2 and the new splinter cell. Not sure what I think about the new halo(s), they are definitely milking that one for all it is worth. Natal seems like a cool bit of technology, but not sure I'm going to enjoy painting or jumping around like I'm on a skateboard. It will draw in a new audience possibly, but doesn't seem like it is for me. I already have facebook/twitter on my computer, ipod touch, and blackberry.... not sure I need it on my xbox as well haha. Overall I liked what I saw and am looking forward to the next year (especially MW2!!!! ) Hopefully Sony and Nintendo will have some cool stuff up their sleeves tomorrow!

Modern Warfare 2. Check.
Crackdown 2. Check. Left 4 Dead 2. Check. Got what I wanted. The Halo ODST (and Reach) is just icing on the cake. Do admit that Microsoft had a really strong showing today, will set the bar for the rest of the E3 convention. Win, lose, or draw this is a strong showing for the XBox360 for the rest of this year and early 2010.

ahhh I forgot about L4D2...might have to pick that up when it comes out.
The only thing I kind of dislike is the way G4 favors the heck out of Xbox and Microsoft

New Super Mario Brothers game, which I kinda expected. Was really hoping for a new 2d Metroid.
Also just watched the extended trailer for the new Splinter Cell game. Looks quite good.

Yes, new splinter cell looks awesome!
And I hope Nintendo has more up their sleeves than a remake of the old mario but can play with 4 players and wii motion plus, which I believe they talked about LAST E3...... I know its still early but come on!

Re: E3 Conference 2009
Awesome news indeed. Was kinda hoping for a 2d Metroid rather than 3rd person game, but i'll take it.
Now if Valve will just give us some Half Life Episode 3 love i'll be a really happy camper
