I hated him in the 6 car, but now he's one of the old ones out there, I'm pulling for him.

Me too. I still don't like his whiny attitude, but he is a Hendrick car so I will root for him. Plus, he is old and never wins

The main reason I didn't like him is b/c he came down and dominated the Busch races. I think the good Cup drivers should not be allowed to race in the Busch (now Nationwide) series.

I still wish NASCAR would start up another league (Southern League) and run all of the old tracks down South that aren't used by NASCAR anymore. N. Wilkesboro, Hickory, Old Nashville Fairgrounds, Rockingham, another Darlington event, a Bristol, Richmond, and Martinsville event.
I think this could be a big money maker if marketed right.

NASCAR has lost a lot of its core fan base over the last 10+ years. This might appease a lot of us rednecks.

I miss Ward Burton. No matter if he wrecked, finished last, or won, he would always say: "We had a really great car" in his Southern drawl while his chin never moved

He failed to qualify one week. He said he had better things to do anyway like go home and feed the chickens and hogs on the farm. A true country boy.

Cali hasn't been drawing like they thought it would. Take away an event. Pocono can be boring but it is unique. I kinda like Pocono and love the road courses (but glad there are only two)
