Susan Boyle/Julie London help?
How about Susan Boyle, eh? Hell of a voice for a woman of her years; sounds fifteen years younger to my ears. I especially liked her cover of "Cry Me A River:"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jI2DxkrgpgQ and as a result, I discovered the lovely Julie London. Can some kind BOTL who might be a fan help me in assembling a JL collection? I don't know where to start with all of the releases available on Amazon, and I want as few repeats in songs as possible. Thanks so much! Kegan |

As a side to your JL collection, pick up the DVDs of the 1970s TV show "Emergency!". She played Nurse Dixie McCall alongside her real-life husband, Bobby Troup.

Yes, we're all in agreement she was hot excuse me, very attractive and prone to raise the temperatures of many a patient.
Emergency's not bad for being dated somewhat. |

Buddy of mine's a firefighter-in-training downstate. Few years ago, I remember helping him buy the first season off eBay. As I said, a very well-written program for the time, and still pretty watchable today.

Loved Emergency when I was a kid. What a voice Susan Boyle has. Talent from above.

Re: Susan Boyle/Julie London help?
Agreed. I heard snatches of the performance the other day when my room mate was watching it online, and didn't think anything of it.
For whatever reason, when it appeared on Yahoo News, I clicked the link. So glad I did. |

If you love Julie London...
I recommend you check out Jame Monheit! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DSrJ...om=PL&index=13 Great duet with Michael Buble'... and Jane is easy on the eyes, and has my all-time favorite voice. And here she is... Just incredible! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oj0M6...eature=related

Hey, not bad as always you seem to pull through for me. She's got a good voice for Christmas, that's for sure lol.
Thanks for these. And yes, she's beautiful I love being single. Last edited by kzm007; 04-19-2009 at 12:35 AM. |
