601 Blue / 601 Green
Hey guys, I have a question for the 601 Blue lovers. How do you like the 601 Green?
I love the Blue, but the 1 Green I got in a sampler is still resting. What are your comparisons of the two? Thanks all. |

Re: 601 Blue / 601 Green
The green is stronger and more complex, imo. I don't really care for the blue.

Re: 601 Blue / 601 Green
I smoked one green and remember thinking it was so strong I had trouble enjoying the flavor at all. It was a beautiful looking figurado but just not for me. If it was between the green and blue, I say blue, but personally I think the reds are better than both.
Also, the black label is a fantastic milder smoke. I tried one last weekend since the reds were getting a little too strong for my taste. |

I've only had a few of the blues and liked them. I love the green though... especially the coronas.

love them both for different reasons the spice and complexity of the green especially the la punta. But the blue was my go to for a while. I liked the spice and chocolate flavors.

I like the green but I haven't had any of the other ones so I can't really compare

Re: 601 Blue / 601 Green
The green is a more potent smoke that absolutely delivers in the flavor, its so rich and tasty..... and I can say the same about the blue accept the blue is more chocolatey/cocoa-y if that makes sense. You cannot screw up with either one, and these are especially cheap from a place I know no one here likes for valid reasons, but for 3.00 a stick for 601's its worth it. thompson cigar
flame suit on.

Greens rock!! Much more complex/dynamic flavor profile.
I also found the Blues somewhat flat, but an enjoyable smooth maduro nonetheless...

Re: 601 Blue / 601 Green
I found the greens to be flat, full of body but no complexity. I liked the blues for a maduro but like the red the best.
But after reading all these posts I will revisit the green. Does vitola seem to matter with the greens? |
