The Robin Hood of Greece
This guy is a bad ass. Seriously. I mean, he's a career criminal and that's not cool, but this story is amazing. It would make a great movie.

Although I'm with Darrell and do not agree with his criminal acts.......I gotta admit it's nice to see that there are still men who act like men in a world that is becoming ever so soft. If only he could have used his cajones in a respectable direction. Great story none the less

Re: The Robin Hood of Greece
When a story is written so blatantly one sided by what appears to be a nut job writer completely fascinated by this type of lunacy, you have got to wonder just how much of the fable is truthful v. how much is totally stretched to the point that the writer wishes to expand the legend. Here is a more realistic version. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vassilis_Paleokostas Less adjectives.

Of COURSE it's one sided! The name of the website is badassoftheweek.com. That's what the guy does.
Check out the first article the guy did where the BAOTW was Darth Vader. Too funny. Cheers, Michael |

No, I do not subscribe. My girlfriend belongs to some site that people can add their favorite websites or articles on and it acts as like a catalog for others to check out. She showed me the site. Blame her. |

Re: The Robin Hood of Greece
so lets get this straight. The guy is a career criminal who's idea of a good time is kidnapping rich folks and selling them back(man on fire anyone?) But because he gives all the money to poor people he's a bad ass?

I just thought it was a cool story, sheesh. I did not suggest we immortalize the guy in stone or anything.

Re: The Robin Hood of Greece
Funny story.
I just can't understand how this happens. Oh wait I understand exactly how, it's Greece. If you were Greek you would understand completely. I'm surprised the guy didn't just walk right out the front door.
