Would you try human flesh?
This question popped into my head yesterday and I've been asking people, so I figured I'd put it up here:
Let's say you were in a foreign country where the local culture enjoyed dining on human flesh. The people aren't killed for their flesh. After people die, the culture prefers to eat their dead as opposed to burying them....they see that as wasteful. So now that you've decided to visit this tropical paradise (or wherever), would you try human flesh while you were there?

Re: Would you try human flesh?
Depends on what they die from.
I've heard of it used as a way to honour someone and keep them a part of you. |

Wow... this forum just took a turn for the odd.
But in all seriousness, it would depend on what they died from and the cooking method.

Is the dead person from a small village or a large village? I have heard that it makes a difference.

Re: Would you try human flesh?
If it was a survival situation and someone in my party died and I had the means to cook them in order to live. Yes.
If I was out would I order a double quarter pounder with human meat, hold the mustard. No. |

Re: Would you try human flesh?
Assuming that it was in good form, I think I would. But I will try anything once.
Could you prove it? Or taste the difference 100% of the time?
