Default Xikar Stands Behind Their Word

I sent out my dullish Xi1 cutter on 2-10-2009.

On 2-19-2009 I received a brand new one in the box.

Tell me another company who takes care of their customers like that.

Very nice! Another option is to also return it to an authorized shop...

I dropped mine a few months ago and the spring popped out. I called them and asked if they could walk me through putting it back together. They told me not to bother... just send it in. I did and it came back quickly and REALLY sharp.

I would agree that their customer service is top notch!!

I returned one of their punch cutters that retract into the housing, it wouldn't work correctly.
So now I'm waiting for its return. I miss it

If the one I send in has sentimental value I'd be pissed if they send a different one instead of sharpening the blades.

Palio.

Walk into any Palio retailer and you don't have to wait. They will replace it on the spot.

I had a Xikar 007 punch that I put on my keychain. It would open on it's own and ended up ruining the blade. i sent it back for "sharpening" and they sent me a brand new one that stays closed. Great customer service. Palio also took care of me when I needed it sharpened.

I own 2 Palios and I've purchased 3 Xikars. I'll never buy any other brand of cutter than Palio or Xikar because of how they both stand by their warranties

I agree. Xikar is a stand-up company. I have 008 punch, Xi3, Xi1 etc. I bought a pair of their Xi MTX multi tool scissors. It didn't have the little key ring (no big deal), but I let them know they sent me the key ring along with their Xikar Defiance cigar all for free.

I have to send mine in soon as it has gotten quite dull and sticks when I try to open it. I used a cheap single blade cutter tonight as I left my Xikar upstairs and I nearly ruined the cigar trying cut it.

That's what I call customer service. Looks like I'll stick to Xikar and Palio.

I own three Xikar cutters and love them, but I also love my Palio.

BTW, Xikar lighters are also very nice and reliable, not like the bunch of
Colibri's I have.
