New pipe tastes good...

I got my first non-cob pipe today in the mail. I won it on fleabay.

It's an Astor, made in England.

For some reason, I hope good, it tastes like oatmeal cookies. It's so strange to me. It tastes exactly like them.

Is this a common thing for cleaned pipes? Or is there a tobacco blend that tastes like......oatmeal cookies?

Either way, gonna break it in with some On the Bayou
