I started the resto 2 years ago at the end of September.

I'm so happy. It's a twin plug 2.5 with E cams, MFI JE high compression pistons. I'll be doing the oil and gas lines Monday and wiring Wednesday. Should be ready to fire up Thursday...

This is what I started with. It was a bare metal resto... Wow did she have some hidden rust...

How she looks now.

The engine and instal.

I'm smoking a Montecristo #2 having a brew and admiring her. The only thing better will be driving it...

About 4 yrs ago I installed the front suspension from an 84 Carrer with Bilstein struts. It made a huge difference in handling and ride... I need to do the rear but that will be a winter project.
