Default El Triunfador Lanceros - A meal of a cigar

I got a few of these in the mail today, and I just had to try one. Yes, I probably should have waited. The only thing that seemed to suffer was the draw

The very beginning of this cigar served up sauteed wild mushrooms. This faded quickly, though, the appetizer to a main course of wild game grilled with herbs.

Like many a good meal I've had, this one seemed all too short. Appetite sated, the cigar took me back into the study where we settled down into overstuffed Spanish leather chairs and read a good, musty novel--musty woodsiness mingled with the leather notes, a bare hint of cream cropping up now and again.

Just when I thought it might be over, out comes dessert: A well-balanced, savory mole. Yes, mole typically is a sauce, but you just don't find chocolate puddings like this. Just the right balance of savory and sweet, dark chocolate smoothing the palette for the next puff.

A great smoke. Easily 8/10. I imagine that a little proper resting will let this cigar really show me what it's all about.
