Christmas Meatfest 08

Some pictures from this past weekend's Annual Christmas Meatfest.

I did 4 - 10 lb., bone in pork butts for our families Christmas Dinners plus 4 slab of spares for us. Friends and neighbors brought over a total of 20 some slabs of babybacks and another 5 or 6 slabs of spares plus one small 5 lb butt.

A beautiful mid 70 degree day with great friends, some fine cigars and a bit of quality beverages. Yea, I love Christmas in the South!

A local co-worker and fellow BOTH discussing the Qualities of Fine Beverages with another of our co-workers that was down from our New York office. The Poor guy's flight was canceled Sat. afternoon and he had to stay in Florida and struggle thru mid-70 degree weather, fine cigars, and quality beverages instead of flying back to Newark and low 20 degree, snow falling, ice storm conditions. Yes, he did struggle thru it!

Serving up ribs

The babybacks are gone, what's left of the spares. The butts went on for a few more hours.

Wish I could have done my last butts in weather so nice, it was in the 20's with the ones I did 2 weeks ago
