New pipe tastes good...

I got my first non-cob pipe today in the mail. I won it on fleabay.

It's an Astor, made in England.

For some reason, I hope good, it tastes like oatmeal cookies. It's so strange to me. It tastes exactly like them.

Is this a common thing for cleaned pipes? Or is there a tobacco blend that tastes like......oatmeal cookies?

Either way, gonna break it in with some On the Bayou

I'm going to say that the previous owner smoked either some kind of sweetened burly exclusively or something with deertongue regularly'
