choice of drink while smoking?

Between the asylum, magazines, word of mouth i've heard some really weird combo's of pairings with cigars. I've heard of gatorade, milk and tequilla as some of the drinks i never would have thought to pair with a cigar. I was wondering what everyone enjoys with their cigars? Me personally, i'm a fan of whiskey or bourbon, or coffee with a more mild smoke.

Scotch

I do consider scotch to be the best drink to accompany my cigar, especially a single malt scotch. Scotch on the rocks, or just straight up, will not be overpowered by a strong cigar.

Try it by youself.

Diet cola, Diet root beer, Diet Dr. Pepper when it's sober time.

Bourbon or Islay Scotch when it's not.

I can't do coffee or heavy beer with a cigar. Way too much going on and I get a nasty muddled taste. I can do easy light beer like Keystone or something. That being said, I drink beer about 3 times a year probably. I like my liquor!

i gotta try that, im usually a huge fan of smoking after a good hearty meal. i'd be too scared my tat would over take my steak or something.

I recommend it . Basically I light up the cigar grill a nice cheeseburger then eat and smoke. Finish the cigar up shortly after the cheeseburger.

Picked up the habit when I use to smoke cigarettes. Eating while smoking might be the greatest thing ever especially if you have a nice buzz.

Edit yes I love me some bastard, the double is one of my top 3.

well i've been ITCHING like crazy for a steak lately. so once it gets a little warmer out i'll have to do that.

i've only tried the arrogant one and its a tid bit too pricey for me seeing as i like it just as much as a 10-13 six pack by bells or great lakes (somewhat micro brewers in MI).

now im really craving a cigar, steak and some bastard grrr.

I'm a big fan of a cigar with lemon lime soda... sounds awful, but really I think it's the only time I actually enjoy lemon lime soda lol.
