iPad on Verizon Oct 28

For those Apple fanatics (like me) who don't want to let go of Verizon we now have a breakthrough here.

Edit: Verizon is already announcing it on their page.

A bit kludgey but better than nothing I guess.

I wish I could get that same deal on the MIFI though. I'll have to read up and see if I can get it without buying a new iPad.

I just don't see how an iPad is worth it. I would rather have a laptop that has keys instead of a touch screen.

I don't see what's being announced here, other than you can buy an Ipad in the Verizon store, same as you will be able to buy them in Target and other retail stores as well.

You could always buy an Ipad Wifi model, buy a MiFi unit and connect to Verizon, all that's going on is Apple is speading their distribution network, not adding Verizon as a carrier
