Vineyards in sonata county

So I'm on vacation and I also just got moved up to server at the fine dinning place tinwork at, which means I need to learn my wines

. So my mom and I are looking to go to a couple vineyards while we are out here and we are wondering which are some of the better vineyards to tour and to do wine tasting?

Edit: also what are the rules about shipping wine? Both our bags are crammed as is and i don't see us fitting any bottles of wine into our checked baggage.
