Drilled the Tobacco chamber, then the Air hole and lastly a mortise. Bit of a trick. Broke about 5 or 6 before I relized the lathe puts way to much stress on the briar, had to do less on th elathe and more by hand. End result was this... Unfortunate thing is it smoke a little on the hot side....Walls are too thin I have 2 more briar ebauchon blocks left tha tI think I will leave a bit thicker. Thanks all!!! |

That is very nice for a first try. OK, that's a nice looking pipe for about any try. A briar plug added to the stem??? Sweet touch!
