Still Watching My Back
|
I recently acquired a 5x herfador. I'm looking for suggestions on what to use for humidification. It comes with a really little puck with green foam. I thought about taking out the foam and putting some beads in. It wouldn't take many beads at all.
I know many of you guys have one. What do you use? |

Typically nothing unless I will be gone for over a week and then I soak the foam in distilled water... the seal is so good on those things you don't need to do much!

For a day or 2, the seal will hold just fine w/o a humidification device. For longer trips & vacations, I take my bigger cigar caddy's and throw in a Humi-Care pillow

Any kind of gel pillow or bag will work fine.
I use the disposable ones that come in CAO/Fuente boxes. On pouch will last me over 3 weeks, that's how good the seal is.

My back is now unwatched.

I've gone on 10 day vacations with my 5 and 15 cts and have done nothing. The smokes on day 10 taste and burn just as good as the smokes on day 1. It is an air tight seal. I think the risk of mold from adding water is greater than the risk of them drying out a little bit if you don't. Just my
