And as far as the 'Cuban Missle' is concerned, I would like to see him place that 105 MPH heater in a spot not 2 feet out of the zone. I have a feeling that throwing 100+ will have far less of an affect on the MLB than AAA. Also, they better be careful not to burn him out. Last guy I watched throw 100+ (Zumaya) was decent for a year and now can't seem to stay healthy. Or a very recent example of Strausburg, I know they want him to be the starter of the future but having him throw multiple 100 MPH pitches are going to burn him out faster than his fastball.

I'm with you about his arm being at risk. His location has gotten much better, but now is not the time to start risking the game on a guy who hasn't seen one inning at the major level. Valaika is just now coming in, but the entire game won't rely on him. I wish we wouldn't see Chapman until next year, but it is what it is.
