My bourbon of choice varies, so I always try to keep the following on hand:

Russel's reserve 10 yo
Maker's Mark
That way, I can select according to my mood. Those are the "utility bourbons"
I also have a few others, depending on the week and proximity to pay day.
Really good ones don't tend to last very long.
