Maybe it's just a personal thing, but when actors show up in several movies in a short period of time, they just kind of blur together. When the A-Team gets in deep sh!t, I'll expect to hear, "Release the Kraken!"
I was the same way when Fellowship of the Ring came out not long after the Matrix trilogy. I was expecting Elrond to say, "Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson."
A notable exception would be someone like Gary Oldman, who seems to just disappear into his roles.
