Most people feel that lower humidity is preferable for the aging process, with somewhat higher humidity for cigars to be smoked sooner.

Personally, I use 62% for both, I like the way my cigars taste and burn at that humidity (these are Cuban cigars, for the record). If you ask 20 people, you are likely to get at least 10 different opinions though, so sometimes it is best to find out through experimentation what works best for you.

I don't stress temperature at all as long as I keep it at 70*F or below.

Hope that helps, I am sure you will get other opinions. Also, my low humidity levels might not be as applicable to NC cigars according to many people's thoughts.
