I'm not afraid to do basic jailbreaking/hacking/whatnot (my Droid is running a custom rom), HOWEVER even with the instructions I'm not sure I'd be up to getting android working on an iPhone just yet. BUT of course, give em a few years
Flash for portables is HIGHLY OVERRATED, just nobody realizes it yet.
Here's what you do - Take a REALLY OLD desktop computer and go to a flash website. See how your computer (and the website) runs like **** because it doesn't have the horsepower to run flash properly? THATS YOUR PHONE PEOPLE!
Flash did very well on the web because it can be designed to be very frugal with the bandwidth.... rich interactive programs and stuff all can be run without serious bandwidth (of course it can also be made to be a bandwidth hog if thats what you choose to do). BUT that comes at a price, and the price is quite simple - WAAAAAAY too much rendering on the client side.
