While it is sponsor money they have huge guarantees and all they have to do is make the cut to collect a large sponsor check. Don't kid yourself they are just like every other pro athelete
Except they don't even need to show up every week to make big $. I know of no other sport paying Millions of $ to players that only come play when they want to.
