I got really jaded after the last big strike. I'm sorry, but if you're making millions (hell, even 6 figures) *playing a game,* you have no right to whine about your salary. I honestly don't see how American audiences find soccer boring when many baseball games are much the same: hours of nothing and one or two great plays.
I used to find golf about as exciting as watching paint dry. Then I got into the game, and now I can appreciate the skill and stategy that goes into it. Plus, there's no guaranteed money (sponsorships notwithstanding). If you go out and
stink up the course, you go home early.
