You're right, when they're both dried out, they taste real similar. The blues are delicious when you pair them with chocolate anything and coffee. That triple pairing is about as good as it gets. (If there's such a thing as a triple pairing.)

Yeah, I knew they were both made by Oliva. I meant more to the latter part of your reply. They taste almost identical to me. In a blind taste test I would bet I couldn't tell them apart. It's almost as if they are still making them but re-labled them as El Cobre's.
I have been fortunate enough to have smoked a great deal of these back in early 2000's. I used to buy only the Oliva blue cloths and Punch Rothschilds.
