I guess I should explain my own personal rating system. Since I watch so many movies and have a grip-load at home as well I'm pretty stringent when it comes to rating a movie.
Most movie offerings fall in the 2-2.5 stars rating for me. Throw away movies like Legion and the upcoming Cop Out (originally titled "A Couple of Dicks") are average forgettable movies and usually get a 2 or a 2.5 from me.
Above average movies are a 3 and above average that I think deserve a theatre visit get a 3.5
A 4 means I'll prob see it 2-3 times in the theatre and a 5 means by the time I review it I've seen it half a dozen times in the theatres, have downloaded a cam-rip that I burned to DVD and will purchase the movie on Blu Ray when it comes out and am planning where on my body to put a movie tattoo
