I say don't retire it. It will save you from having to go through the trouble of having to bring it back into service later. Trust me, I retired a couple humis when I got my cabinet figuring it will never reach its limit. Slowly one by one they are all going back into service.

Actually that box would make a nice box to keep at a little lower Rh to put sticks you plan on smoking in the near future into it. Nie collection by the way!
