Picture and quote depicts a well known scene (there's shirts and bumper stickers and such made out of it) from a tv show called Firefly (You might remember its cousin, the movie Serenity). show was canceled after only 14 episodes and has a fan base that can only be described as fanatical.
The joke: Fox is the network that mismanaged the show and canceled it. Mutant Enemy is the studio/production team/whatever that made the show.
