One local B&M we occasionally meet at has a beer/wine bar and we patronize the establishement by spending quite a bit of $$$ at the bar. The owner has no problem with us bringing our own cigars to smoke. (Note: We also share a stick or two with him.)

Good point, Peter...at one of my favorite B&Ms, Cigar King in Skokie, IL, the staff always gets a cigar or two in their breast pockets when I leave.
