The tax in TX I believe is ridiculously low, like 1.5 cents a cigar. One of the retailers I went to said that they only charge sales tax. It's most likely since it's almost non existant as opposed to the tax here in MI which is about 30% of the cigar's wholesale price. Overall it's a decent savings at a few dollars on some of the more expensive cigars.
